The event will be held at The Cube (also known as P Block) which is one of the world&#8217;s largest digital interactive and learning environments in the new $230 million Science and Engineering Centre.<\/p>\n<h2>Map &amp; Location of The Venue<\/h2>\n<p>QUT Gardens Point: P Block or The Cube.<br \/>\nAll talks and registration will be on the main floor (also known as level 4) of the building.<br \/>\nZoom into the map below to see the different building names.<\/p>\n<p>You can also view <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qut.edu.au\/campuses-and-facilities\/gardens-point-campus\/maps-and-getting-here\">QUT&#8217;s campus map here<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"googlemaps\">\n\t\t\t\t<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" marginheight=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m14!1m8!1m3!1d14159.762959885815!2d153.02676633121337!3d-27.471104210723897!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x0000000000000000:0x592f6209a3d931db!2sKindler%20Theatre!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sau!4v1427350455101\"><\/iframe>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<h2>Getting to the Venue<\/h2>\n<p><strong>By Train:<\/strong><br \/>\nDepending on where you are staying there a couple of train stations close to the venue:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Get off at South Bank Station (not South Brisbane) and walk over the Goodwill Bridge, this will take about 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Get off at Central station and you can walk through the city to the venue, this will take about 15-20 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Call Translink to plan your journey <strong>on 13 12 30<\/strong> or <a href=\"http:\/\/translink.com.au\/\">plan your journey here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Bus:<\/strong><br \/>\nThere are several buses that go directly near the campus and it is also a short walk from King George Square and Queen St Bus Station.<\/p>\n<p>Call Translink to plan your journey <strong>on 13 12 30<\/strong> or <a href=\"http:\/\/translink.com.au\/\">plan your journey here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By CityCat:<\/strong><br \/>\nQUT Garden&#8217;s Point has it&#8217;s own CityCat stop and you can easily walk up to the venue from there.<\/p>\n<p>Call Translink to plan your journey <strong>on 13 12 30<\/strong> or <a href=\"http:\/\/translink.com.au\/\">plan your journey here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Bicycle:<\/strong><br \/>\nQUT Garden&#8217;s point is easily accessible by the Bicentennial Bikeway along the river. You can also cycle over the Goodwill Bridge from the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and the South Bank cycle path. Find out more about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brisbane.qld.gov.au\/facilities-recreation\/sports-and-leisure\/cycling\/\">cycling in Brisbane here<\/a>.<br \/>\nThere are on campus bike racks for you to store your bike.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Uber:<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uber.com\/cities\/brisbane\">Uber<\/a> is available in Brisbane to get to the venue. To book an Uber you&#8217;ll need an app for it so you can\u00a0either use the <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.ubercab\">Android<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/uber\/id368677368?mt=8\">iPhone<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.windowsphone.com\/s?appid=b905a877-bd55-4ce7-a7aa-467cdc3a21f4\">Windows<\/a> phone app.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parking:<\/strong><br \/>\nThere are 3 \u2018Pay on Exit\u2019 car parks available on weekends at QUT Gardens Point. You can view the <a href=\"https:\/\/2015.brisbane.wordcamp.org\/files\/2015\/02\/CasualCarParks.png\">map of the car park entrances here<\/a>. Costs for these car parks <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fmd.qut.edu.au\/security\/parking\/pay_on_exit.jsp#GardensPoint\">can be found on the QUT website here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Commercial parking within the CBD often have cheaper Weekend rates, for example <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilsonparking.com.au\/park\/4126_119-Charlotte-St-Car-Park_119-Charlotte-Street-Brisbane\">Wilsons parking on Charlotte St<\/a> is $10 per day &amp; the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myercentreshopping.com.au\/Centre-Info\/Car-Park\/\">Myer Center parking<\/a> is $10 per day ($5 per day if booked online in advance) on weekends. Both these parking lots are within 15-20 minutes walk of QUT &amp; the after party on Saturday evening.
