The WordCamp Brisbane 2025 organising team is comprised of seasoned professionals and passionate community members, each bringing a wealth of diverse knowledge and experience.

    a bubbly and creative digital professional with a serious passion for crafting accessible, inclusive, and visually stunning experiences. With WordPress as my main tool of trade—I’ve delivered projects that not only look great, but strategically connect with the right audiences. I take pride in designing with purpose, ensuring usability, accessibility, and brand impact are at the heart of every build. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at the gym, scaling climbing walls, sipping quality coffee, or exploring the local food scene—always curious, always inspired.

    Janna is software developer and frontend performance specialist at Tomato Elephant Studio based in Brisbane, Australia. She is an active speaker and organiser of local meetups and conferences.

    John Maizels

    Volunteering coordinator.

    John is a broadcast engineer, technologist, media presenter, and technical writer who is passionate about WordPress. He has built and administered sites for a number of not-for-profits, and enjoys the challenges of coding HTML. When not playing with technology, John loves good coffee and pipe organs.

    Sponsorship engagement

    PK is a UI/UX designer and a frontend developer at Major Neon based in Brisbane. He has used WordPress over the past almost two decades with a span of clients including national corporations, filmmakers, and international agencies from around the globe. In his non-agency time, he tries to give back to the community by making WP tutorials at Almost Inevitable Tutorials. When not in /wp-admin/ he’s usually browsing memes, playing with Lego, or listening to music.


  • Vladimir Roudakov

    Vladimir Roudakov

    Vladimir is the Lead Organiser of WordCamp Brisbane 2025, bringing his extensive experience in the open-source community to this role.

    He recently co-organised successful conferences such as Everything Open and DrupalSouth. Vladimir is also a co-organiser of the WordPress Brisbane meetup, actively contributing to the local WordPress community since its revival in 2023.


  • Wil Brown

    Wil Brown

    Mentor.

    Scottish-born Wil lives in Sydney with his wife and 9yo son.

    He plugged into the WordPress community in 2008, developing websites and quickly finding a passion for plugin and API development work to extend WordPress.

    He jump-started the Dublin WordPress community in 2010 while living there and is co-organiser of the WordPress Sydney and Elementor Australia meetup groups today.

    Wil runs WordPress consultancy company Zero Point Development, WordPress care site WP Wingman and his personal brand and educational site WilBrown.com.
